Anyone have any good weekend getaway tips? Preferably something within a two-three hour radius, with a nice but not too pricey place to stay...

Dave took me to this place called Costanoa a while back that was a great weekend getaway. It's basically "luxury camping" in the hills of Santa Cruz. Pretty awesome in my opinion. Here's the website:

I am a big fan of Silverado Resort in Napa. It has a pool, spa, on a golf course, and huge rooms for what I consider reasonable prices... and it's barely an hour away. Sign up for their email updates cause every once in awhile there is a nice gem that pops up!

This is much more preferred then the hot springs I went to with un-named ex boyfriend where everyone stared at me because I was the only one wearing a bathing suit and I couldn't stop staring at how many bushes still exist in Northern California...
