buenos aires is a city that truly knows what it is doing. it is about 2am as i sit here and write this while i work on a vodka-red bull. if you want to appear even remotely cool here, you don´t set foot in the clubs until at least 230am. from there it´s partying and dancing until about 6am. it certainly hurts the sight-seeing for the next day but one could argue that going to the discotecas is sight-seeing to a certain extent. tonight we´re headed to sunset, a large club about 20 minutes outs

I´m not including a picture of the city because it´s really just not worth it. I arrived here last night on the plane from Guayaquil, Ecuador (another city you can skip...or spend about 6 hours in). Lima is a sprawling city with a number of different districts, each with it´s own character. I spent last night in Miraflores, where the rich Peruvians live and the local nightlife bumps (no pun intended).
