Where to Eat in Calcutta
Having recently returned from Calcutta, I can say without reserve that
Calcutta is a great place to eat. If you don't have the great fortune
to have family in the city, but want a gastromic adventure, here's some
places you can try out:
Peter Cat - located just off Park Street, around the corner from
Music World, Peter Cat is one of Calcutta's oldest great restaurants,
serving excellent Indian and Western food. The decor is elegant and
reserved. Try the kabobs.
